Khabib’s Manager Reacts To Explosion In hometown as Death Toll surges

An incident of fire and explosion occurred at a fuel station located in the southern region of Dagestan, Russia, which is the native place of UFC Legend Khabib Nurmagomedov.

According to the regional emergency medics cited by Interfax news agency, at least 25 individuals, including three children, have tragically lost their lives, while numerous others have been injured.

In response to the incident, Ali Abdelaziz, the manager of Khabib Nurmagomedov, requested prayers for the affected region of Dagestan.

Explosion occurred in the southern region of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s home town

Ali Ibrahim Abdelaziz, a former MMA fighter and current manager in the mixed martial arts industry, took to the social media platform X to express his concerns. “Guys pray for Dagestan, there was a huge explosion today and more than 50 people died”.

Ali said, he requested prayers for the region of Dagestan following a significant explosion that resulted in the unfortunate loss of over 50 lives.

The incident occurred when a fire broke out at an auto repair shop situated on the roadside of a highway in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, which is located near the Caspian Sea.

The fire subsequently led to explosions that affected a nearby petrol station. Earlier reports from officials provided details about the incident.

The blast happened at 9:40pm local time (18:40 GMT) on Monday, as reported by Sergei Melikov, who leads the Dagestan administration on Telegram.

RIA stated that a fire erupted in a space spanning 100 square meters. The cause of the explosion remains unclear initially.
