The up-and-coming Brazilian strawweight has shared a lot of pictures of herself on Instagram wearing anime costumes, but she won’t be walking out in one.
It’s hardly unexpected that the Brazilian wants to leave the fight wearing some of her favourite ‘Naruto’ cosplay attire given that the UFC women’s strawweight contender is scheduled to battle Iasmin Lucindo at UFC Vegas 78 this weekend. However, the promotion has thus far turned down each of her petitions.
Bloody Elbow posted on Twitter confirming the claims that Viana was even prohibited from leaving with a bandana with a Naruto theme. In a recent tweet, she announced the information, and followers went to the comments area to voice their opinions.
Hardcore anime fan Polyana Viana delights in dressing as her favourite character from her favourite programmes. Despite her well-known obsession with cosplay, she is having trouble getting the UFC’s approval to enter a battle dressed as an anime character.
