Manchester City’s star midfielder Kevin de Bruyne pulled off a Lionel Messi move as he surprised his fellow teammates with customised platinum iPhones to commemorate club’s historic treble-winning season. This extravagant gesture comes as Manchester City prepares to kick off the new Premier League season with high spirits.
Similar to Lionel Messi, who gifted 24-carat gold iPhones worth £175,000 to Argentina’s victorious World Cup squad, De Bruyne gifted 26 crafted custom-made iPhones, each carrying an estimated value of £5,000.
These luxurious devices were designed in collaboration with renowned mobile artisans, iDesign Gold. The exclusive phones were presented to his teammates during team’s gathering organized by De Bruyne on Thursday.
