The Indian cricket team will depart for Ireland in two batches for the three-match IND vs IRE T20I series starting from August 18. The first batch led by Jasprit Bumrah, will leave on August 13, while the second batch, consisting of seven players will take flight for Durban from US.
The second batch of players including Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sanju Samson and others are currently in Florida. They are with rest of the squad playing last two T20Is of the 5-match series. They will fly to Dublin after the 5th T20I which takes place August 13.
The T20I series against Ireland will be a good opportunity for Ruturaj Gaikwad, Rinku Singh and few others to prepare for the upcoming Asian Games, which will be held in China from September 23 to October 8.

India have announced a strong squad for the T20I series, which includes some of the players who performed well in the IPL 2023. The likes of Rinku Singh, Jitesh Sharma, and Shivam Dube have been rewarded for their consistent performances in the domestic T20 league.
Big assignment for Jasprit Bumrah
The series will also mark the return of Jasprit Bumrah, who has been out of action since September 2022 due to back stress. The pace spearhead will lead the side in the absence of Hardik Pandya. Bumrah will be eager to prove his fitness and form ahead of the Asia Cup which begins from August 30.
The three T20Is will be played at the Malahide Cricket Club Ground in Dublin on August 18, 20 and 23. All the matches will start at 7:30 pm IST.
