Some of the netizens also shared Shaw’s 13-year-old picture and started to pass mean comments. While few of them bashed netizens for being too rude to Shaw. One of the netizens wrote, “Imagine being Prithvi Shaw, finally having a good moment in his life, and then seeing people troll him for how he looks in an unflattering photo. Everybody on social media behaves like the worse relative we know.”

Prithvi Shaw: Shaw off to a dream start in County Championship, eyes to make a comeback to the Indian team
After a miserable Indian Premier League (IPL) season for Delhi Capitals, Shaw has bounced back well in the County stint in England. In List A cricket he has hardly put a foot wrong in the past year or so. With India looking at a transition phase in ODIs post the World Cup 2023, Shaw would be one of the candidates for the opening role owing to the Bazball way he plays.
Once looked at as generational talent, the former Under-19 star has gone down the pecking order due to fitness and disciplinary issues. However, big scores in the County circuit might just revive Shaw’s international career.
