As mentioned above, a controversial LBW call led to a heated fight between Aparajith and the umpires. To note, the batter also did not spare the opposition fielders as he was seen confronting them as well. As feelings got heated on the field, the game had to stop for a short time.
Speaking about the game, Aparajith stepped up to bat as his team was under the pump with a score of 32/2 in the 7th over. Forming a key partnership with Sai Sudharsan, the senior all-rounder was a key part of making a comeback happen. Together, the duo scored 42 runs for the third wicket, which helped their team’s game get back on track.

Youngster Sai Sudharsan’s unbeaten 67 runs off of 92 balls played a huge role for the winning team as he was also adjudged player of the match for his persistent knock with the bat.
