Roman Reigns: Despite Roman Reigns sustaining an injury, it won’t disrupt ongoing WWE plans. He’s set to make an appearance on Friday’s SmackDown for a “Hail To The Chief” segment, aimed at reuniting the group after SummerSlam. Fortunately, the injury shouldn’t lead to any missed scheduled dates for Reigns.

Roman Reigns Coming To WWE SmackDown
According to information from both Fightful Select and the Wrestling Observer, it was reported that Roman Reigns sustained an injury during his match with Jey Uso at WWE SummerSlam. Fightful Select has independently confirmed this news.
Following SummerSlam, there were reports that Reigns wouldn’t be appearing on WWE TV for the next few months. However, it’s been verified that Reigns is indeed planned to be part of this Friday’s SmackDown.
As of now, there are no intentions to alter his scheduled appearances, although this could potentially change in the future.
The exact details of where and how Reigns sustained the injury have not been officially disclosed.
However, some individuals on Twitter speculate that it might have resulted from a dive by Uso, which caused Reigns to collide with the guardrail. Given Reigns’ limited appearances, the potential injury is somewhat mitigated.
Notably, SummerSlam marked his first title defense after winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39 against Cody Rhodes. Since that event on April 2nd, Reigns has only competed five times in total.
