Bayern Munich goes for 4th bid for Harry Kane after £86m bid rejected

Bayern Munich are looking at pushing their 4th bid for Harry Kane after having their first three bids rejected by Spurs

Harry Kane: Harry Kane wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur and join Bayern Munich. This has been no secret for the media and it seems like we might be going toward the end of this saga. Kane has been wanting to leave Spurs for quite a while now but it looks like this summer, it will finally happen. The Bavarians have been very keen on getting this deal over the line but Daniel Levy has been adamant on letting his star leave. After rejecting Bayern’s third bid, it seems like the German giants are going to send over their fourth bid as they look to rope Kane to Germany.

According to rumors, Bayern Munich plans to make a £94 million offer for Harry Kane. The latest £86 million offer from the Bundesliga team was turned down by Tottenham yesterday. Before Spurs’ Premier League start against Brentford on Sunday, Kane, 30, wants his future to be resolved.

Despite his contract expiring at the end of the current campaign, it has been suggested that the England captain may now remain at Tottenham. Bayern will reportedly put their commitment to the test by making a fourth bid, according to talkSPORT. Their next offer is anticipated to be about £94 million, which is £6 million less than Spurs’ rumored estimate of £100 million.

This summer, Kane isn’t thought to be aggressively pushing for a transfer out of North London. Spurs executives are reportedly “relaxed” about the circumstance.

Ange Postecoglou talks about Harry Kane

Under Ange Postecoglou, Kane has led Tottenham in all three of their preseason friendly, scoring four goals in the 5-1 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday.

While Kane has not travelled, the Lilywhites have already left for Spain to face Barcelona. Postecoglou is expected to name a significantly altered lineup. Kane is rumored to have been pleased with the new Spurs manager and the caliber of his workouts.

Asked about the possibility of playing Kane against Brentford, Postecoglou said, ‘There’s no doubt I’d use Harry. He’s a fantastic striker, one of the world’s best. The way the team plays will help him. He loves scoring goals, we created a load of chances today and he was the beneficiary.’

Bayern’s 3 bids for Kane rejected

According to German media, Bayern set a deadline of midnight on Friday for Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to accept their third offer. But Levy rejected the bid that Bayern had put up on the table. The player is said to want to know his destiny before Spurs kick off their Premier League season against Brentford on Sunday.

Despite all the chatter, Kane proved with four goals against Shakhtar — Dane Scarlett, 19, added Spurs’ fifth late on — that his on-pitch focus is razor-sharp. Spurs captain Kane applauded fans at full-time and waved to what appeared to be a family member in the stands. It was interpreted as a farewell, however, the forward is known to do the same after prior matches.
