Pakistan skipper Babar Azam is currently participating in the ongoing Lanka Premier League. The right-handed batter is in emphatic form as he recently stroked his 10th T20 century to help his side Colombo Strikers win a crucial match in the competition. Babar’s match-winning performance left everyone in the awe, especially the former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja. To note, Raja is part of the commentary panel for the ongoing LPL 2023.

“Fifty in security, class, and quality, calmness. He is your guy in such a situation, in the back deep in the innings. I just absolutely love him – wanna marry him,” Raja was heard saying in commentary.
As mentioned above, Babar recently completed his 10th T20 century. With this hundred, Babar became only the second player in the history of T20 cricket to score 10 centuries after Chris Gayle. Gayle has a total of 22 centuries in the shortest format of the game out of which 2 have come in international cricket while the other 20 in domestic or franchise T20 tournaments. On the other hand, Babar has three centuries in international cricket.
Apart from Babar, the likes of Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Nawaz and Asif Ali are also participating in the ongoing LPL. After the LPL, Babar Azam and Co will be have their focus on the upcoming Asia Cup. To note, the Men in Green are set to take on the arch-rivals India in their opening encounter of the tournament.
Last time both teams met during the 2022 T20 World Cup in which India came out trumps thanks to a stellar performance from Virat Kohli. The Men in Green will want to have their revenge on the Rohit Sharma and Co. in the upcoming match.
