‘Logic’?, Frustrated fans lashes out at Rahul Dravid

Earlier, netizens were left bamboozled with inclusion of Gaikwad who is not part of Team India’s plan for World Cup 2023.

“Playing Gaikwad who is the captain of Asian games and won’t be even in the scheme of WC”, tweeted one Twitter user.

“Is this a joke?
Ruturaj Gaikwad, who will play at the Asian Games and is not in WC’s scheme of things gets to play?
Why did @BCCI include Rohit and Virat in the ODI squad then?
Also, Ruturaj isn’t in the T20 squad for WI tour but is the VC for Ireland tour. Logic?”, tweeted another Indian cricket fan.

Notably, the 26-year-old played his last ODI match against South Africa in Lucknow in October last year. He scored just 19 runs on his debut.
