England’s veteran pacer James Anderson was left emotional and teary-eyed after speaking about the retirement of Stuart Broad. The video is viral on social media channels. But it is fake. In fact, Anderson went emotional for Alastair Cook’s retirement. Stuart Broad shocked the cricketing world when he announced his retirement from the game at the end of Day 3 in the 5th Ashes Test match.
“It’s been a wonderful ride. It has been a huge privilege to wear the Nottinghamshire and the England badge as much as I have. And, I’m loving cricket as much as I ever have. It’s been such a wonderful series to be a part of. I’ve always wanted to finish at the top. And this series just feels like it’s been one of the most enjoyable and entertaining I’ve been a part of,” Stuart Broad said as he announced his retirement.

Apart from teammate James Anderson, Stuart Broad is the only 2nd fast bowler to bag 600 Test wickets. He took his 150th Ashes wicket in his final game at The Oval this week.
