Sanju Samson failed to make most of the opportunity given to him the second ODI encounter between India and West Indies. Samson’s failure with the bat was not taken lightly by the fans as they slammed Samson for his poor shot selection.

Samson could not manage to stroke a single boundary

Earlier in the match, West Indies won the toss and invited India to have a bat first. Indian openers, Gill and Kishan made an excellent start in the field restrictions as they stitched 50-run opening partnership. While Gill failed to convert his fifty, the Southpaw slammed back to back fifties in Bridgetown.

After the fall of Gill’s wicket, it was only Windies who took control of the game. Romario has been the pick of the bowlers as he took two wickets. Spinners Gudakesh Motie and Yanic Cariah have scalped one wicket each. Apart from the openers, skipper Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel and Samson were the other three wickets for the visitors.
