Alvarez picked Crawford over Spence as a favorite to win the fight in their scheduled bout, which miffed Spence Jr. The undefeated, unified WBC, WBA, and IBF world welterweight champion reacted sharply to Canelo Alvarez’s comments on his bout with the current WBO welterweight champion.

Online boxing editor Michael Benson, while quoting Spence Jr., took to Twitter and wrote “Errol Spence on Canelo Alvarez backing Terence Crawford to beat him: “He backed himself to beat Dmitry Bivol and he got his a** whooped.” Spence Jr.’s response to Canelo’s opinion was met with mixed reactions from boxing fans. Some found it to be a “silly response,”

Spence Jr. is confident in his abilities and has been training hard for this fight. He has a record of 27 wins and no losses, with 21 of those wins coming by way of knockout.

Terence Crawford, on the other hand, has a record of 37 wins and no losses, with 28 of those wins coming by way of knockout. He is the current WBO welterweight champion and is widely regarded as one of the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world.

As the fight draws closer, opinions and predictions from fans and experts alike will continue to pour in. However, the only thing that matters in the end is what happens in the ring. Boxing fans around the world will be eagerly waiting to see who comes out on top in this epic clash of champions.
