World Cup 2023 Tickets: The wait for World Cup 2023 tickets will continue as the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) are re-working the schedule. Not only India vs Pakistan match, but BCCI secretary Jay Shah also said that a few of the other games will also be rescheduled as some of the other team board members are having some issues. India vs Pakistan match was originally scheduled to be played on October 15 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
However, due to the start of Navratri, the match will be rescheduled due to security issues. There were a few reports that IND vs PAK clash will be played on October 14, but on that day, two other matches are there. It is also still not clear who are the other three members who want a change in the World Cup schedule.
“A few members have requested that they have short gaps between two matches while they have a long gap of six days before other games. We are just trying to change the date and time of matches while retaining the venues. Things will be sorted out in two or three days,” Jay Shah told the media.

The announcement of the new World Cup schedule will have a bearing on tickets. Earlier, InsideSport had reported that the BCCI is working closely to have a seamless experience for fans. BCCI does not want a stampede-like situation in any of the WC venues and is making sure to get the ticketing process sorted.
“There are still a few things to work out. We are modernizing the ticketing system. That is why it is taking a little longer. There will be a lot of digitization so that fans can have a seamless experience. Hopefully, everything will work out by next week. You should understand that it’s an ICC event through the local organizing committee and state associations. So, it’s a complicated process,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.
The tickets for the ICC World Cup 2023 will soon be available online, according to a report in The Economic Times. Cricket enthusiasts and fans across the globe can pre-book their tickets from the official ICC Cricket World Cup website.
Besides, tickets will also be available on Bookmyshow, Paytm, and Paytm Insiders. The tickets will mostly be available online and will have limited offline sales.
The price range for the tickets will be between Rs 500 and Rs 10,000 per ticket. The prices will depend on the venue and the match.
