Tilak Varma, Avesh, Bishnoi jet off to Caribbean for IND vs WI T20 series

Team India’s next generation stars have jet off to the Caribbean Islands for their next assignment. Tilak Varma, Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi were spotted on the aeroplane as the trio took off to Island nations for India vs West Indies (IND vs WI T20 series).

Avesh Khan and Ravi Bishnoi were snapped together inside the plane. The duo were donning new all black India training jersey by adidas. They were all smiles ahead of the IND vs WI T20 series.

The other next gen star who was spotted on plane was Tilak Varma. The Mumbai Indians batter who got his first call-up for Team India was all amped up and that could be seen via his smile. The explosive batter was donning a cool bucket hat on the long journey from India to the Pacific.

IND vs WI T20 SQUAD: Team India

Yashasvi Jaiswal and Tilak Varma, two young batsmen with explosive potential, received their first T20I calls-ups for the 5-match series in the West Indies.

Suryakumar Yadav will serve as Hardik Pandya’s assistant in the shortest format. The IND vs WI T20 include the pacer Mukesh Kumar, who was selected for the Test and ODI squads.

In Trinidad, the IND vs WI T20 series will start on August 3.

Senior batsmen Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were not selected once more, indicating that the BCCI has phased them out of the shortest format of the game.

With a strike rate of over 142 in 47 games while batting at No. 5, Hyderabadi left-hander Tilak Varma has been a significant member of the Mumbai Indians team for the past two seasons and has undoubtedly caught the notice of the national selection panel, which is helmed by Ajit Agarkar.

Avesh Khan, a pacer, and Ravi Bishnoi, a leg-spinner, are the two players who have made their international comebacks.

Bishnoi will play first-class cricket for Gujarat this season after last representing India in the Asia Cup in September.
