MS Dhoni old Job offer letter goes viral, Veteran’s monthly salary Shock fans

MS Dhoni is one of the richest cricketer in the world. At present, Dhoni’s net worth is INR 1040 crore only behind Virat Kohli having a net worth of INR 1050 crore. Known as one of the greatest captain to lead India, MS remained one of the top paid cricketer by BCCI. Not only in international cricket, Chennai Super Kings pays a hefty amount to Dhoni for leading CSK in the IPL which has duly paid dividends to the Yellow Army.

Meanwhile, an old offer letter issued to Dhoni for the post of Vice President in the firm India Cements is now going viral on social media. In much of a surprise for every cricket fan, the salary offered to the former Indain skipper for the job was just INR 43,000.

Other features highlighted in the offer letter to MS Dhoni were Enhanced HRA of INR 20,400 while stationed in Chennai; Special HRA of INR 8,400/ month if in Chennai and INR 8,000/month if elsewhere; Special Allowance of INR 60,000/ month, and lastly Education/Newspaper Expenses of INR 175.

To note, India Cements is a company owned by billionaire N Srinivasan, who is the owner of CSK. This is the same year when MS Dhoni was offered the INR 43,000 per month job is the same year when he was retained by Chennai for INR 8.82 crore.

The letter, which went viral on social media, was posted by former IPL chief Lalit Modi on his Instagram account. It must be noted that Modi has been banned by the International Cricket Councial (ICC) and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for corruption charges.
