Despite regular rain interruptions, Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal gave India a great start, stitching a 98-run opening partnership in just 12 overs. Due to rain delays, India upped the ante and declared in just 24 overs, making 181 runs to set a target of 365 runs.
West Indies, in reply, made 76 runs for the loss of two wickets. The hosts now need 289 runs on the last day to win the second Test. Ravichandran Ashwin picked up both wickets in the fourth innings and can pick up his third five-wicket haul to seal the series for India.
