Ajinkya Rahane took a stunning catch to dismiss Jermaine Blackwood on Day 3 of IND vs WI 2nd Test at Port of Spain. Rahane showed great reflexes and plucked the ball out of thin air to provide India a breakthrough just after tea.
The brilliant catch took place in the 87th over. Ravindra Jadeja bowled over the wicket and landed the ball just outside off. The ball turned and bounced sharply, took the edge. The ball took Kishan’s deflection but Rahane changed his direction to go to his left and took the catch with one hand.
Team India in front despite Braithwaite’s effort
Team India is still in the driver’s seat after picking 5 wickets in IND vs WI 2nd Test. Day 3 saw Kraigg Brathwaite (75) leading his side from the front with a valiant fifty. He showed patience and determination and kept India frustrated in first session.

However, his innings was cut short by Ravichandran Ashwin’s masterful delivery where the veteran spinner castled the stumps through his classic off-spinner.
Mohammed Siraj then bowled Joshua Da Silva after Ravindra Jadeja got the wicket of Jermaine Blackwood. Earlier, debutant Mukesh Kumar got his first international wicket before rain forced early Lunch on Saturday.
