Is Stephen Fulton A Better Knockout Puncher Than Naoya Inoue?

Stephen Fulton vs Naoya Inoue will battle at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, this Tuesday, July 25th. Naoya Inoue is certainly a better knockout fighter than Stephen Fulton, who has more knockout wins. However, anything could happen in their upcoming showdown.

Stephen Fulton is one of the top fighters in the bantamweight division and the current WBO and WBA super bantamweight champion. His fighting skill and in-ring IQ have made him an undefeated bantamweight king. With 21 wins, he secured 8 knockout wins and 13 decision wins. Despite fewer knockout wins, the Cool Boy Scotter has added impressive unanimous decision wins to his name.

The 29-year-old champion has registered 4 decision wins and 1 KO win in his five fights. His previous fights included championship rounds which he outlasted, dominating his opponent. However, this won’t be the case against Naoya Inoue, a ferocious fighter.

On the other hand, Noaya Inoue is a three-division champion who secured world titles to become the first Japanese-origin unified champion in a decade. With 24 wins, he has secured 21 KO wins and 3 decision wins. Inoue uses an orthodox stance with a powerful left-hand combo to knock out his opponents.

In his last 5 bouts, he secured all victories via knockout after a dominant display of his power. Moreover, he is a big favorite to win his match against the champion Stephen Fulton this Tuesday. There is no doubt the 30-year-old is a better knockout fighter than Fulton. However, Fulton is not an easy opponent to play with.
