Before the start of Day 3 of the IND vs WI 2nd Test, Miss World Aché Abrahams of Trinidad and Tobago met with Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Abrahams was invited to the Queen’s Park Oval by West Indian great Brian Lara, who is from Trinidad and Tobago himself.
“It’s always inspiring meeting the new generation,” Abrahams said while talking with RevSportz about meeting the young Indian stars.
“They were so sweet and inviting and gave me well wishes”, Abrahams said after her brief talk with Gill, Kishan, and Jaiswal. She also stated that the young superstars wished her well for the next Miss World, which will take place in India in December 2023.
“He’s an absolute legend. His work is encouraging the youth of our country to use sports as an outlet to have more options in their lives in the future.” Abrahams also heaped praise on Brian Lara, stating that Lara had helped the Trinidad and Tobago community.

India is currently ahead in the IND vs WI 2nd Test after making 438 runs in the first innings and has already sent Tagenarine Chanderpaul back into the hut. As far as personal performance goes, the three young superstars that met with Miss World TT have had varied results.
While Yashasvi Jaiswal announced himself with an imperious 171 on debut, he followed that up with an impressive 57 in the 2nd Test. Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan have not tasted success so far on the India Tour of the West Indies 2023. Gill has scored 16 runs in two innings so far, batting at his new spot, number 3. Kishan, meanwhile, has made only 26 across two innings, remaining unbeaten in the 1st Test.
