Krafton Reveals Full Schedule and Format for BGIS 2023

The Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023 schedule and format were officially revealed by Krafton. Check out the full format and schedule.

The highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India series (BGIS) 2023 is around the corner, and Krafton reveals its full schedule and Format. The BGIS 2023 will be played in different phases, starting with The Grind, which has already started on July 20.

There are a total of six phases in BGIS 2023, including The Grind, registration, Verification for Registrations, in-game qualifiers, rounds 1–6, and the BGIS Grand Finals. Check out all phases’ formats and schedules:

The Grind

BGIS 2023 The Grind has already started on July 20 and will be live until August 20. The Grind will be played within 4 weeks of the period where 256 teams battle and the final 64 teams qualify for Round 2 and Round 3 of the BGIS 2023.

Format

Total of 256 Teams Divided into two Parts 128 Teams Each

  • Week 1 – First 128 Teams will play, and the top 64 Teams advance to Week 3.
  • Week 2 – Remaining 128 Teams will compete, and the top 64 Teams advance to Week 4.

Now, 128 Teams remain.

  • Week 3 – First 64 Teams will play, and 32 advance to the next round.
  • Week 4 – Remaining 64 Teams will compete, and 32 will advance to the next round.

Registration for BGIS 2023

The registration for the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023 will kick off on July 24th and last until August 2nd, 2023. Players need to be ready with their in-game character IDs, team names, and government-proof IDs.

Verifications for Registrations

The verification for the registration of BGIS 2023 will take place from August 3 to August 9. Players must submit their details correctly to avoid being eliminated during the verification step.

In-game Qualifiers

After the successful registration and verification process, Verified teams will be able to compete in the in-game qualifiers, where they have to play 15 classic matches, with their top 10 match scores determining their rankings. The top teams that are able to maintain a good average of position and elimination points will advance to the next round.

Round 1–Round 6

Round 1 and Round 6 are scheduled from August 31 to October 7. A total of 2048 qualified teams from in-game qualifiers will battle in Round 1. These 2048 teams will then compete in a group of 16 from Round 1 through Round 6, with the top teams advancing to the Grand Finals.

BGIS Grand Finals

The top teams from rounds 1–6 will compete with each other in the grand final from October 12th to October 14th. The BGIS Grand Final will be a Lan event with an audience.
