Senior batter Virat Kohli is gearing up for the second Test match against West Indies starting from July 20 onwards. Kohli on Monday uploaded a video of him sweating it out in gym as he is all set to represent India in his 500th international game when they will take on the home side at the Queen’s Park Oval, Trinidad.

As mentioned above, Kohli is all set to play his 500th international game. The right-handed batter is just 73 runs away from surpassing South African veteran Jacques Kallis for most runs at the highest level. If Kohli manages to score those runs against West Indies in the second Test then he will go at the fifth spot for most runs in the international arena.
In another record, the Modern-day great requires just 31 runs to surpass another Indian legend Virender Sehwag for runs in the red-ball format. Apart from these milestones, the senior batter will also be eyeing his 76th international century which is due for a decent amount of time now.
Kohli was looking good for a century in the first game against the home side. He played a rather slow knock from his standards to amass 76 runs in 182 balls which included just 5 boundaries. However, his efforts came to an end as off-spinner Rakheem Cornwall managed to induce an edge which was safely pouched by debutant Alick Athanaze. Kohli will be keen to rectify his mistakes in the second Test and try to score a hundred.
