Marketa Vondrousova went on to create history as she defeated Ons Jabeur 6-4, 6-4 in the final. She became the first-ever unseeded Women’s Singles player to clinch the title in the tournament in the Open era.

Just ahead of the match, the official Twitter account of Wimbledon posted a special tweet to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. “All set for the finals, Welcome to Wimbledon Priyanka and Nick,” the message read.

Priyanka Chopra was spotted in a dark green and black dress. Nick Jonas wore a beige suit. They were sitting at the Royal Box and were enjoying the action on the centre court.

Harry Potter actress Emma Watson also witnessed the live action on the day. She was in attendance along with her father Chris Watson. The daugher-father duo also posed for pictures at the Evian VIP Suite. Another star to hog the limelight on the day was Andrew Garfield. The Spiderman actor was sporting a taupe suit.

On Sunday, the centre court will be packed to witness the much awaited clash of this year’s tournament. Novak Djokovic will take on Carlos Alcaraz in a blockbuster Men’s Singles final. While Djokovic is eyeing a record 24th Grand Slam title, Alcaraz will be in action in his first final at the Grass court major.

It will be a battle between the top two seeds in Men’s Singles. Djokovic is undefeated at the Centre Court since 2013. Alcaraz is bidding to end the Serbian’s dominance at Wimbledon.
