Virat Kohli, Shubman-Kishan enjoy DAY OUT in Dominica as rain washes out practice

Virat Kohli along with Anushka visited a beautiful beach on Sunday. The former Indian skipper also uploaded a few snaps on social media.

Indian players including Virat Kohli had a day off in Dominica, West Indies as the rain washed out their training session on Sunday. With no practice to do, the likes of Kohli, Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan visited some places in Dominica. To note, team India is set to play West Indies in the first Test set to be played from July 12 onwards.

Kohli along with Anushka visited a beautiful beach on Sunday. The former Indian skipper also uploaded a few snaps on his social media account. To note, Kohli is also planning to meet his former RCB teammate and friend Chris Gayle. Kohli said that he is expecting a home invite from the Universe Boss when team India reaches Jamaica.

“I have hung out with Chris for so many years. I am sure that when we are in Jamaica, we will go and meet Chris. He always invites the team home to have a good time and just chill out. So I am sure he is going to do the same again if he is in town. Definitely, if he is free and he is in town, sure we are going to catch up with him,” Kohli said on Star Sports.

‘Certified Sushi Lover’: Shubman Gill

Earlier, Kishan and Gill were seen indulging in delicious sushi platter, along with some tropical drinks. Expressing their love for the delectable Japanese delicacy, Gill shared a post on his social media accounts and stated that they are “certified sushi lovers”. The cricketer shared a number of pictures with Ishan Kishan as they posed with their drinks.

As mentioned above, India is set to take on the home side in the first Test match slated to be played from July 12 onwards. The likes of Kohli, Gill and Kishan if given chance will want their team to have a great start to the next WTC cycle.
