While, the history is not behind Verstappen and Red Bull, the form certainly is. Red Bull’s last victory at the British GP came way back in 2012, however, Verstappen has looked almost invincible this season and another Red Bull win looks most likely outcome.

Meanwhile, Ferrari would be concerned as Charles Leclerc missed the session with an electrical issue. The engineers reportedly will have to rebuild the car to fix the issue which is not a good news.

However, Carlos Sainz’ run in the Practice session 2 will surely give Ferrari some hope of a first grid finish.

Sergio Perez secured fourth after falling behing a quarter of a second away from team mate Verstappen. He will be looking for a smooth qualifying round to return back to form.

Mercedes, on the other hand, had another quiet session. Both Brits drivers George Russell and Lewis Hamilton had issue which resulted in Russell finishing 12th, and Hamilton finishing15th.

It would be entertaining to see how Mercedes turn things around on Saturday.
