Shahrukh Khan Smashes Fastest TNPL 2023 Fifty vs Siechem Madurai Panthers, Watch

With the help of some decent hitting by skipper Shahrukh Khan, LKK managed to post 200+ runs on the board.

Lyca Kovai Kings skipper Shahrukh Khan was simply excellent with the bat as the IPL batter smashed the fastest fifty of the ongoing TNPL edition. Facing Siechem Madurai Panthers, SRK took no time in settling down as he took a liking to Murguan Ashwin and smashed him for four consecutive boundaries. He brought up his fifty in just 20 balls. Earlier the record was heled Sai Kishore from IDream Tirrupur Tamizhans who smashed a half-century in just 24 balls.

With the help of some decent batting performance, LKK managed to post 200+ runs on the board. The chase of 200+ total seemed to have been too much mounted on the chasing side and therefore they faltered with minimization of balls left. Siddharth was the peak of the bowlers with three-fer, followed by two wickets each for Shahrukh Khan and Valliappan Yudheeswaran.

Insidesport

J Kousik played some flamboyant strokes but ultimately was dismissed by Shahrukh Khan. The middle and lower-middle order failed to notch up runs and convert the starts. C Hari Nishaanth showed some spark but could only get 33 runs before Manimaran Siddharth got the better of him. It also collaborated with a fantastic catch from Shahrukh who plucked with one hand. Eventually, with the passage of time the bowling unit of Kovai Kings folded up Madurai for 164.
