‘Fu*** Sh**’ Bob Arum Publicly Slammed By UFC President Dana White- “Hate That Guy”
Why does Dana White “Hate” Bob Arum
In 2020, Dana White publicly criticized Bob Arum for his refusal to compensate fighters such as Terence Crawford fairly, and went so far as to call him a “scumbag.” At a press conference, a journalist inquired about Arum’s statement regarding being able to purchase a Beverly Hills home with the money he had lost due to Crawford, prompting White to express his disgust with Arum’s behavior.
To which he replied, “You imagine if I said that are you f***** kidding me you guys would have murdered me if I said that. I’d never hear the end of that. That’s what you do that’s not his f***** problem that’s yours. His problem isn’t to figure out how you make money. You f***** signed a deal with that kid, your job is to promote him. All these kids that I signed you know and if you look right now at the kids we signed on our roster is very inflated right now.”
He added, “We have the biggest roster in the history of the company and I have to pay all these kids. And how I pay them is not their f***** problem it’s my problem. Imagine me if I say ‘oh I gotta pay Conor McGregor if I get this much money I would have made a house in Beverly Hills. Shut the f*** up and pay you fighter what you owe them that’s your f**** job. He is piece of fu*** s***.”
IDana White’s deep concern for fighter compensation is evident, and he didn’t hold back in ridiculing Bob Arum’s remarks. White questioned why Arum wasn’t taking the necessary steps to support his fighters, and openly scoffed at Arum’s comments in the process.
