According to the New York Post, the demise of a Chinese boy allegedly beaten by a martial arts instructor has led to the arrest of three individuals. The victim, an eight-year-old whose identity remains undisclosed, was pronounced dead on June 18 at Chenyang’s Third People’s Hospital.
The child’s parents had enrolled him in the martial arts academy just one day before his passing, paying $1,440 for a year’s worth of instruction. However, the parents received a distressing video revealing their son’s pallid appearance and bruising. The trio of suspects are expected to face charges related to “intentional harm leading to death.”
The internet was ablaze with fury upon seeing images extracted from the alleged beating, revealing the young victim cowering on the ground, wearing an orange T-shirt of the martial arts institution. After which fans reacted as follows.
