Chelsea’s Hakim Ziyech set to join Al-Nassr, play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo

Hakim Ziyech will soon sign with the Saudi club Al-Nassr on a three-year deal. Only medical tests are left to be done for Al-Nassr to announce the signing.

Hakim Ziyech Transfer: Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech is set to join the Saudi club Al-Nassr on a three-year deal. The player is one of many who are on the sale list of Chelsea this summer transfer window. Along with Koulibaly and Kante, Ziyech is now the third Chelsea player closest to sign with another Saudi club. Ziyech will be playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo who joined Al-Nassr at the turn of this year. Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is also set to join the Saudi club Al-Ahli.

Negotiations for the defender Hakim Ziyech were going on between Chelsea and Al-Nassr for some time now. Al-Nassr were offering £8 million for the Chelsea player. As per transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, final deals between the two clubs have been finalised. Apparently, the deal was closed last week and the player has also agreed personal terms with Al-Nassr. Reportedly, Ziyech has signed a three-year deal with them till 2026. Only medical tests are left to be done and then Al-Nassr will announce the new signing.

Ziyech is one of the four Chelsea players headed for Saudi Arabia this summer. N’Golo Kante has already completed his signing for Al-Ittihad on a £86 million transfer fee. Kalidou Koulibaly is another player who has completed his transfer to Al-Hilal on a £20 million transfer fee. Ziyech is the third player who is set to join a Saudi club this transfer window. He made the transfer on a £8 million fee and will be playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. The next in line is Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.

Chelsea have received a £16 million offer from the Saudi club Al-Ahli. The Blues are also close to agree on that deal with Al-Ahli. These are only a few of Chelsea’s flash sale candidates this transfer window. Several more players will be moving to other European clubs as well. Chelsea have a bloated squad of 31 talented players. This has caused performance problems for them rather than solving them. They are also trying to bring in enough money to compensate for last year’s £121 million financial loss.
