Ishant Sharma: MS Dhoni – After revealing Virat Kohli’s lowest phase in his career, Ishant Sharma has made another massive statement on MS Dhoni’s captain cool tag. The former India captain is always raved for being calm and composed on the field. However, Ishant reveals that Dhoni has lost his cool a lot of times and has also abused me whenever I have erred in line and length.
During one of the podcasts with Ranveer Allahbadia, Ishant debunked Dhoni’s cool tag and said, “Calm cool toh nai hai, bahot gaali dete hai, mujhe bhi bahot di hai.” In recent times also, while captaining Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Dhoni has lost his cool several times on players and sometimes on match officials. The only difference is the wicketkeeper does not show his emotions a lot like Virat Kohli.

Ishant Sharma: Ishant spills the beans on when Dhoni got angry on Virat Kohli
Not only Ishant, but Virat Kohli has also been at the receiving end of Dhoni’s uncool behavior. The India pacer said during one of the Test matches against Australia, the CSK skipper was not happy with the way Kohli got out playing an expansive shot knowing Dhawan could not come to bat in the second innings owing to a thumb fracture.
Ishant stated: “The Test match against Australia had reached a deadlock, and Cheeku (Virat Kohli) got out. We were playing Shikhar Dhawan’s first match, and in the second innings, the Test match became challenging. We managed to win, but it got stuck in the second innings. Shikhar couldn’t bat due to a thumb fracture. Mahi Bhai (MS Dhoni) said to Cheeku after the match, ‘When you know we have a shortage of batsmen, why did you attempt that shot?’ He didn’t get angry, but his words made Virat realize.”
Dhoni is currently enjoying his break with his family in Ranchi. He underwent successful surgery on his knee and will soon begin his rehabilitation.
