Wimbledon 2023 is just a week away. Ahead of the grass court Grand Slam, top players will get their final warm-ups done at the Eastbourne International 2023. The tournament is all set to kickstart from 26th June 2023, Monday.

The tournament is all set to kickstart from 26th June 2023, Monday. It will be a WTA 500 event for Women and an ATP 250 tournament for Men. Top players like Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, Taylor Fritz will all be in action in the tournament.

Taylor Fritz leads first quarter

Taylor Fritz is the top seed in the tournament. He is in the first quarter and has received a direct bye to the second round. He will either face Marco Cecchinato or Mackenzie McDonald in the second round.

Ninth seed Botic van de Zandschulp is also in the same quarter. He will face Mikael Ymer in the first round. Britons Liam Broady and Jan Choinski will be facing each other in the first round.

Francisco Cerundolo is the fourth seed and he leads trhe second quarter. He will begin his campaign in the second round and will face either Ryan Peniston or Marc Andrea Huesler.

Seventh seed Lorenzo Sonego is the only other seeded player in the quarter. He will begin his campaign by facing Zhang Zhizhen. Daniel Galan and Maxime Cressy are the other two players in the quarter.

Nicolas Jarry & Miomir Kecmanovic in the third quarter

Nicolas Jarry leads the third quarter of the draw. He is the fifth seed in the tournament. Jarry will begin his campaign in the second round. Gregoire Barrere or Emil Ruusuvuori will be his opponent in the second round.

Eight seed Miomir Kecmanovic will begin his campaign in the first round. He will face Wu Yibing in the first round. Brandon Nakashima and qualifier Aleksandar Vukic will face each other in the first round.

USA’s Tommy Paul leads the final quarter of the draw. The American will face either Nuno Borges or Sebastian Baez in the second round.

Tomas Etcheverry, who played in the quarterfinal at the French Open is also in the quarter. The Argentine is the sixth seed. He will face JJ Wolf in the first round.

Elena Rybakina leads first quarter

Reigning Wimbledon Champion Elena Rybakina has pulled out of the tournament. She was set to be the top seed in the tournament. The only other seeded player in the quarter is eighth seed Beatriz Haddad Maia. The Brazilian having reached the semifinal at French Open aims to continue her form on grass. She will face Marie Bouzkova in the first round.

Former Grand Slam champion Barbora Krejcikova is also present in the same quarter. The unseeded Czech will face wildcard entrant Katie Boulter in the first round. USA’s Madison Keys and upcoming young talent Linda Fruhvirtova are the other two players in the quarter. They will be facing each other in the first round.

Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff in second quarter

Americans Jessica Pegula and Coco Gauff will lead the second quarter of the draw. Pegula is the third seed, while Gauff is seeded fifth. Both the players are likely to set up a juicy quarterfinal clash. Pegula will be facing Quinwen Zheng in the first round. Gauff is set to begin her campaign by facing fellow American Bernarda Pera.

Other Americans in Shelby Rogers and Lauren Davis are also part of the quarter. Rogers will begin her campaign against Osorio Serrano.

Ons Jabeur headlines third quarter

Ons Jabeur is the fourth seed in the tournament. The Tunisian headlines the fourth quarter of the draw. She faces Jasmine Paolini in the first round. Seventh seed Petra Kvitova is also in the quarter. She faces a tough challenge against Jelena Ostapenko in the first round.

Zhang Shuai, Harriet Dart, Camilia Giorgi and Anastasia Potapova are the other names in the quarter.

Caroline Garcia in final quarter

Caroline Garcia is in the final quarter of the draw. She has received a wildcard and is the second seeded player. She will face qualifier Madison Brengle in the first round. In the second round she is set to face either one of the Romanian in either Sorana Cirstea or Ana Bogdan.

Karolina Pliskova and Elise Mertens will be facing each other in a juciy first round encounter as both the players are drawn against each other. Ninth seed Daria Kasatkina is the only other seeded player in the quarter. Kasatkina will be facing Ukraine’s Anhelina Kalina to kickstart her proceedings in the campaign.
