Hurlingham Tennis Classic: Ahead of Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic is all set to participate in the Hurlingham Tennis Classic exhibition event. The event that is scheduled from 27th June to 1 st July 2023 will serve as a warm-up event ahead of the grass-court major for the Serbian. Top players like Carlos Alcaraz, Holger Rune and Casper Ruud are also set to be in action in the tournament.

Djokovic’s participation in the tournament was officially confirmed with a tweet on the official Twitter account of the tournament. “World No.1 Djokovic set to play at the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic as he prepares for Wimbledon,” read the tweet.
It will be the first event on grass this year for Djokovic, who is the reigning Wimbledon champion. He is aiming to lift a record eighth title at the grass court major and the event at Hurlingham will serve as a perfect warm-up for the 23-time Grand Slam champion.
Djokovic will be playing in the exhibition event for the second time in his career. It will also be the only event for the Serbian on grass before he begins his title defence at the Wimbledon Championships that is set to begin from 3rd July 2023.
Having won the Australian Open and the Wimbledon Open, he is also aiming to win the first three Grand Slam titles in a year for the second time in his career. He last achieved the feat in 2021.
