Krafton introduces NEW State Mobile July Update today. The Update brings a new round deathmatch mode named DEAD ROCK. This will be a 4v4 round-based battle where three teams will compete against each other. Read on to learn more about the latest mode addition.
New Round Deathmatch Mode DEAD ROCK
- DEAD ROCK is a 4 vs 4 vs 4 round-based battle with the Blue Zone closing in on the players on the battlefield.
- Unlike prior Deathmatch modes, 3 teams will be competing against each other.
- The game will have up to a maximum of 4 rounds, and the first team to win 2 rounds will emerge victorious.
- The team that wins 2 rounds will be the winner. This means you should target the team that has won a round as a a top priority.
- Before a round starts, each squad will be randomly deployed to three starting points.
- The 3 starting points have different concepts and features.
- Point A: An urban combat training area that is located at the highest location out of all three starting points
- Point B: A starting point that has many rocks, which can be used as cover
- Point C: A starting point where container boxes can be used as cover
- During the waiting time before each round, a marker will be displayed on the screen to inform players which team starts at which point.
- Detour routes, which lead to the rear end of other points, are located at the back of each starting point. Make sure to use them to your advantage!
- The 3 starting points have different concepts and features.
- Take advantage of the trench at the center of the map, and claim your victory.
- In DEAD ROCK, you will be deployed with weapons you choose from the Deathmatch preset window.
- Each player will be given the following items before the start of each round:
- 1 Frag Grenade
- 2 Smoke Grenades
- 2 Poison Grenades
- Each player will be given the following items before the start of each round:
- Note that Care Packages are not available in DEAD ROCK.
- In DEAD ROCK, the Surrender function is disabled.
- Your statistics in DEAD ROCK will be recorded separately from other RDMs.
