Timur Valiev, a bantamweight under coach Michael Chandler, defeated Team McGregor’s Trevor Wells (8-3) in a unanimous decision to move Team Chandler’s record to 4-0 in this season of The Ultimate Fighter 31. Before Valiev controlled the second round with his wrestling to secure the victory, the less skilled Wells gave him a good fight in the opening round.

The 4th episode of UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter was featured live on the 20th of June, Tuesday. 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT. New episodes will air every Tuesday night through August 15. Every Wednesday at 7:30 IST, fresh episodes are available to Indian viewers.
For viewers in the US, there are two ways to watch the programme: either through an ESPN+ subscription or by watching ESPN through a live TV streaming service like fuboTV.
If purchased yearly, an ESPN+ subscription costs $99 instead of $9.99 per month. FuboTV is presently giving TUF viewers a one-week free trial after which they must pay $74.99 per month.
Additionally, for $12.99 per month, viewers may access Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ all at once through the Disney package.

The fourth episode of TUF 31 was the closest fight of the year, but Team McGregor lost because Valiev won by unanimous decision to carry on the UFC veterans’ winning ways.
Valiev, a Russian fighter from Dagestan, was removed from the UFC roster in 2017. His final professional match came with the organisation, and he lost to Jack Shore by a majority decision at a UFC Fight Night in March 2022. Valiev, who competed in the UFC from 2020 to 2022 and has a 2-1-1 record inside the Octagon, defeated Martin Day and Raoni Barcelos.
Valiev demonstrated his wrestling skills throughout the battle with Wells, but it was also clear that he was fading as it went on. To increase his endurance, he’ll need to keep working with Chandler and his staff. If so, Valiev might compete in the bantamweight championship match.
