Mitchell Johnson follows Mark Zuckerberg and takes up combat sports

Johnson recently took to social media to share his progress in Karate. The former Australian fast bowler thanked his wife and sensei Jessica for getting him into it. Johnson showed off his yellow belt and certificate and revealed he and his family are doing Karate.

Fans showed their appreciation for Johnson. One fan commented saying he expected Johnson to be enjoying his retirement but was amazed that he started Karate. Another fan pointed out that Johnson did not call his wife his Sensei, while many others congratulated him. One overzealous fan even commented, “God is good.”

Will Mitchell Johnson compete in competitions?

We have seen Mark Zuckerberg compete and win competitions in the past. So can we expect the same from Mitchell Johnson? At the moment, the Australian has not revealed any plans of partaking in competitions. It looks like Johnson is using Karate to keep fit and channel his energy.

However, given his competitive nature, we wouldn’t be surprised if Mitchell Johnson took part in a Karate competition and won. One thing is for sure, given that his wife is his sensei, it doesn’t look like Mitchell Johnson will stop anytime soon.

What do you make of Mitchell Johnson taking up Karate? Would you like to see him compete in competitions?
