BAN squad AFG series: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced its squad for the upcoming two-match T20I series against Afghanistan. Afif Hossain has been added to the T20I squad after he was named in the ODI squad for the three-match ODI series as well. In the 62 T20Is he has played, the left-hander has scored 1020 runs. Left-arm pacer Ebadot Hossain has also been included in the squad. Ebadot made his T20I debut during the Asia Cup last year and has picked up seven wickets in the four matches he has played. The southpaw also took 4-47 in the one-off Test against Afghanistan earlier this week.

Afghanistan’s tour of Bangladesh began with a one-off Test, which was won by a massive margin of 546 runs by the hosts. The three-match ODI encounter will be followed by a three-match T20I series.
Bangladesh T20I squad: Shakib Al Hasan (c), Litton Das, Rony Talukdar, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Shamim Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Nasum Ahmed, Mustafizur Rahman, Hasan Mahmud, Taskin Ahmed, Ebadot Hossain, Shoriful Islam, Rishad Hossain and Afif Hossain.
