Initially, Prograis was set to fight the unbeaten contender Liam Paro, but he couldn’t participate in the fight due to an Achilles injury during his training. Pro would have been an excellent opponent for Prograis, as he is the most powerful and talented fighter after Josh Taylor who defeated Regis in 2019 by a controversial 12-round majority decision in London, England.

Which Boxers Are Fighting This Weekend?

Regis Prograis is 2 centimetres shorter than Danielito Zorrilla, which stands at 175 cm. Zorrilla not only has a reach advantage over Prograis’ 170 cm thanks to his 178 cm height, but he also has a good reach advantage of 8 cm. Additionally, Zorrilla has an advantage over Prograis of 6 cm in terms of ape index.

Prograis had a 28-1 (24 KO) record going into this fight. His most recent fight was an 11th-round knockout victory over Jose Zepeda, which occurred 6 months and 22 days ago.
