Harry Kane TRANSFER to Man United could be delayed till Spurs striker can LEAVE as free agent

Manchester United could move away from pursuing Harry Kane. Even though Kane himself prefers to move to Man United, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy doesn't want to sell him in England. Hence, both Man United and Kane could wait till next year for Kane to become free agent and join the club on a free transfer.

Harry Kane Transfer: Harry Kane has been linked with a move to Manchester United this transfer window. As per reports, the player also wants a move to the club. However, being Spurs’ domestic rival, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is not willing to sell the player to Man United. Considering the situation, the Red Devils and the player might take a step back until Kane’s contract ends next year. Then Kane can move to Man United on a free transfer of his own will. Harry Kane’s contract with Tottenham Hotspur expires at the end of next season. Spurs ended their season in the 8th position in the Premier League table this season. Hence, they will not be playing in any European competition next season. Even in the midst of such a horrible season, Kane has managed to score 30 goals for Spurs. He is only second to newcomer Erling Haaland who has scored 36 goals in the Premier League. Although, many have claimed that scoring 30 goals with this broken-down Spurs team is a greater achievement for Kane.

In the midst of this, Kane has been rumoured with a move away from Spurs. Manchester United have shown interest in the player. Coach Erik Ten Hag especially favours the striker. Other clubs, like Bayern Munich, PSG, and Real Madrid have also shown interest in Kane. However, as per reports, the player has no intention of leaving England. Apparently, Kane is chasing Alan Shearer’s record for most goals in the Premier League. He is 48 goals away from breaking the record which is 260 goals.

Additionally, his family is based out of England and his wife is pregnant with their fourth child. Hence, he has no intention of moving out of the country. Manchester City and Liverpool have not come forward for the player. Given all three clubs are based out of London, Kane cannot join either Arsenal or Chelsea. Man United is the only option for him at this stage. However, as Spurs’ domestic rival, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy wants to sell the player abroad rather than to Man United.

Reportedly, Spurs are ready to ask at least £100 million for the prolific striker. Knowing the fee, Man United are ready to bid for the player. Since Ronaldo’s departure from the club, Man United have not brought any replacement. Even though Anthony Martial has been amazing for the side, they will still need a striker like Kane to compete in top-level competition. Considering, they have qualified for next year’s Champions League, Man United will have to strengthen their squad further prior to the arrival of next season.

However, Spurs are not ready to sell Kane to Manchester United. Hence, both Man United and Kane could step back from the situation. They will wait another year till the end of Kane’s contract. Then the player could be joining the Red Devils on a free transfer. In the wake of this, Man United are searching for other strikers who could help them score more goals. They have also shown interest in Victor Osimhen from Napoli, Rasmus Hojlund, Goncalo Ramos from Benfica, and Randal Klol Muani from Entrance Frankfurt.
