'Can't watch game...' WATCH Marnus Labuschagne funny explanation on dozing-off mid-match, World Test Championship Final 2023, IND vs AUS, WTC Final Live

Marnus Labuschagne never fails to amaze with his off-field antics. The number one ranked Test batter was at it yet again when the cameraman caught him taking a power nap on day three of the WTC Final against India at Oval. Labuschagne’s power nap was a short one though, as David Warner was out for just one run in the third over. When quizzed about his nap during post-match play, Labuschagne said, “I was just resting my eyes.”

Cricket Australia shared an image on Twitter about Labuschagne sleeping and gave a fitting caption, “Dreaming of a hundred?” The Aussie batter’s sleep post went viral in no time and received a hilarious response from the fans.

One of the users wrote, “he was not in the mood to bat in the second innings, but that’s how Test cricket is. India fighting hard.” Another user gave a hilarious response by saying, “Dreaming of Warner actually contributing in England.”

He has got a start and would be eager to carry on for Australia. Pat Cummins would be hoping to set India a target of about 400 in the fourth innings. However, rain is predicted on day four, and we might see a few overs lose in the process. However, there is a reserve day on Monday if rain plays spoilsport on day five.
