Wilder spoke with the PFL broadcast team while at the 2023 PFL 4 on Thursday in Atlanta’s Overtime Elite Arena. When questioned about recent PFL signee Ngannou, “Bronze Bomber” responded that he is still highly interested in the battle.
Although Wilder is rumoured to be fighting Anthony Joshua in a boxing contest at the end of the year, he is still open to a two-fight deal with Ngannou.

Francis Ngannou, a former heavyweight champion of the UFC, claimed that “if it were up to him,” his next fight would be a boxing match against Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder on Tuesday after signing with the PFL. He said that he’s open to the prospect of challenging Jon Jones, the current UFC heavyweight champion.
The PFL contract with Ngannou includes equity and the option to box.But as part of a two-bout pact in the ring and the cage, the former WBC heavyweight world champion is prepared to repay the favour. Returning to the broadcast, Wilder had one final message for Ngannou before donning the four-ounce MMA gloves from PFL.

“Aye Francis, if you listening, we discussed this before. And hey, we got many space and opportunity to discuss it once more,” Wilder said. “Aye, I’m looking for a two-fight crossing over.”
Ngannou, 36, was contractually unable to compete in both the UFC and box at the same time.
He left his previous organisation and joined the PFL in order to compete in their brand-new super-fight category while also boxing.
