Amidst shock INTEREST from Bayern Munich, Declan Rice still prefers Premier League as Arsenal READY with £80m bid

Declan Rice is the priority target for Arsenal this transfer window. With Rice wanting to stay in England, he prefers to join Arsenal as well. However, Bayern Munich coach Thomas Tuchel talked to him on call and are not backing down from the race. Manchester United and Chelsea are other two clubs interested in him.

Declan Rice Transfer: West Ham United captain Declan Rice has been a hot topic during this summer transfer window in England. The player has offers from Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich. Reportedly, the England team player doesn’t want to leave the country. Hence, Arsenal ready with a £80 million deal could end up signing him. However, there are now reports that Bayeern are now close to signing the player. As per reports, even though Declan Rice wants to remain in England, Bayern Munich could still sign him. Earlier this week, Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel called up the player personally. In the call Tuchel told Rice that he will be a key player for Bayern and his skills will improve under his tutelage. Additionally, Bayern are also ready to offer West Ham £85 million for the player. However, even with Tuchel’s efforts, Rice said he doesn’t wish to move away from England.

Despite this, there have been new rumours that Bayern are still preparing their bid for the player. They are ready to bid a high amount and break their own transfer record. Rumours say, they are even close to signing the player. As per Fabrizio Romano, some sources have informed that Arsenal is currently in the lead in this race. However, Rice has not made any concrete decision as of yet. Apparently, he is keeping his options open. With Bayern Munich not ready to back down, the fight to race him could still become interesting.

Earlier in May when Arsenal met West Ham, Declan Rice came up to Martin Odegaard asking for an autograph after the match. Since then the fans have been speculating. Confirming to those speculation, Arsenal have shown interest in the player and made him their primary target. Arsenal have done an astonishing job this season. They remained at the top of the Premier League table for the most part of the season. Succumbing to pressure near the end of the season, they dropped points again and again.

Even though they did not win the league title, in 2nd position in the table, they have qualified for next year’s Champions League. Hence, coach Mikel Artera is looking to boost the team ahead of next season. Reportedly, similar to Tuchel, Arteta also favours Rice to a great extent. Arsenal are ready to initially offer £80 million for the player. Apparently, they could even go higher by including add-ons. As per reports, they could even match West Ham United’s £100 million asking price.

Other than Bayern Munich and Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have also shown major interest in the player. However, Man United probably will not be bidding to that high amount. On the other hand, Chelsea have the pressure of a big loss. Hence, to spend that amount on any player, they will first have to sell some of their own. Only Bayern and Arsenal are ready to close in on West Ham’s asking price currently. Hence, they are now leading the race to sign Rice.
