Indian cricketing legend and car enthusiast Sachin Tendulkar has added another car to his incredible collection. The Master Blaster has bought a luxury SUV, the Lamborghini Urus S, which is worth Rs 4.22 crore (ex-showroom) in India. After purchasing the new variant of the Urus S, Tendulkar became one of the first Indian celebrities to own the new version of the luxury SUV.

Sachin Tendulkar’s new luxury SUV, the Lamborghini Urus S, comes with multiple upgrades compared to past variants. While the car is more or less similar to its previous versions, there are some notable changes in its exterior, including a cooling vent in the bonnet of the car and changes in the design of the rear and front bumpers, among other things. The master blaster has chosen a colour that is very similar to his fellow Mumbaikar and former MI teammate, Rohit Sharma’s Lamborghini.
The Urus S SUV is the first Lamborghini car in Sachin Tendulkar’s collection. Prior to this purchase, Tendulkar owned another sports SUV, a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. Besides the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S and Lamborghini Urus S, Tendulkar also owns other luxury cars like the BMW 7-Series Li, BMW X5M, BMW i8, BMW 5-Series, etc.
The main reason Sachin Tendulkar bought the Urus S can probably be explained by the car’s superior performance. Urus S has a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo petrol engine, which happens to be the same as his previous sports SUV, the Cayenne Turbo S. However, the Lamborghini engine is tuned to produce 666 hp and has an 8-speed torque converter gearbox, which can propel the car from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.5 to 3.6 seconds.
