Roman Reigns’ Schedule for Summer 2023
At the Night of Champions event, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens emerged victorious in the main event by defeating Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, thereby retaining their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. Jimmy Uso shocked his brother Jey and WWE Universe when he betrayed “The Tribal Chief” and used two superkicks to finish the match.
Meanwhile, WWE revealed Roman Reigns’ summer itinerary on May 30. On June 2, 16, June 30, July 7, July 21, and July 28, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion will appear on WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
Additionally, on June 17 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and on July 22 in Mexico City, Mexico, Reigns will perform a few exclusive house concerts. The WWE Money In The Bank 2023 event on July 1 and SummerSlam on August 5 are other dates where “The Head of the Table” will appear.
The Undisputed WWE Universal Champions has only appeared in four house shows since switching to a part-time schedule a year ago to work notable attraction matchups. Even though he was the company’s top prize winner, his live premium television and event schedule was cut back. Reigns skipped Extreme Rules, Money in the Bank, and Hell in a Cell last year. Backlash in Puerto Rico was the only PLE he hasn’t been on this year. Beyond SummerSlam, WWE has yet to confirm any PLE dates, so how things will develop is unclear.
