Conor McGregor also sat with Megan Olivi and addressed several scenarios surrounding his UFC journey. While talking about his preferred weight classes to compete, the Irishman mentioned Alexander Volkanovski’s names.
McGregor’s exact words were, “Of course [155 Lbs] it’s in an option. I have never missed weight. I have been a 145 lbs champion and a 155 lbs champion and I like 170lbs also. I like 170, I like 155. I like them all.”
“Even like the 145 lbs champion [Alexander] Volkanovski. You know that will be a nice one at some stage. All of them.”

Can Alexander Volkanovski Perform Well Against Conor McGregor at 155 lbs?
Conor McGregor is 1-3 at 155 lbs, which is not very impressive if compared with other fighters. However, McGregor has been a lightweight champion, which makes him a credible threat for the 155-pounders.
Meanwhile, Alexander Volkanovski is 0-1 in the UFC lightweight division. He failed to snatch Islam Makhachev’s lightweight title at UFC 284.
The loss, however, was controversial, and many fighters felt that the result could have gone in a different direction. Volkanovski managed to out-wrestle Makhachev and also out punched the lightweight champion several times.
Despite all the effort, judges felt that Islam Makhachev deserved victory. Hence, Volkanovski shall offer a tough challenge to Conor McGregor even if the fight happens at 155 lbs.
