Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni who is set to play his 250th IPL and possibly his final match will have to wait for another day. It must be noted that Dhoni’s final international innings was also halted for a day as team India lost to New Zealand in the semi-final encounter of 2019 World Cup in England. In bowling, Rashid Khan and Mohammad Shami have been spewing venom with the ball as they are on top of the most wickets list for the season.
For CSK, openers Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway have been magnificent. Shivam Dube has also played some crucial knocks for the four-time champions. In bowling, Tushar Deshpande, Ravindra Jadeja and Matheesha Pathirana have been decent for the yellow outfit. It remains to be seen who will come out on top in the crunch encounter of IPL 2023 on Monday.
