WWE Night of Champions 2023: Rhea Ripley vs Natalya
The match began with Dominik Mysterio distracting Natalya. In the meantime, Rhea Ripley attacked her opponent from behind.
Ripley slammed her opponent on the announcer’s table and then sent her onto the steel steps. Back in the ring, Ripley nails the Riptide for the win.
Thus, Rhea Ripley retains the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship in an easy win against Natalya.

On Monday Night Raw, May 8, 2023, Rhea Ripley defeated Dana Brooke. However, Ripley continued to attack Brooke even after the bell rang. This prompted Natalya to come out to Brooke’s aid. The duo then had a staredown inside the ring.
Following that, Rhea Ripley stated that Natalya had a legendary career. But, at WWE Night of Champions, Ripley would end her career.
With that, a match between Rhea Ripley and Natalya was made official for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship at the WWE Night of Champions 2023.
However, at Night of Champions 2023, Ripley defeated Natalya to retain the title.
