Monaco GP: Formula 1 paddock has reached the rich principality of Monaco for the most exciting race on the calendar. The “jewel in the crown of F1” will take place on 28th May, and the race weekend action is already underway. Red Bull star Max Verstappen had a clean outing as he set the fastest time in FP2 held yesterday. However, amidst all this, fans spotted a familiar face in the paddock and they haven’t been able to stay calm ever since. In a recent tweet by F1, former driver and 4-time world champion Sebastian Vettel was seen meeting his friend and former rival Lewis Hamilton. Follow Formula 1 Live Updates on InsideSport.IN.

The two drivers were visibly cheered to be in each other’s company. Hamilton and Vettel have shared the F1 grid for almost 15 years. For most part of it, the two legends battled it out on-track for wins and championships. However, as time grew, and the rivalry mellowed down, the two became good friends and mutual respect has only grown ever since. Especially over the last few years, both of them have taken this platform to promote a range of social issues, often together standing side by side.

When Vettel announced his retirement in 2022, the news disheartened almost every F1 fan at the time. All the drivers including Hamilton himself had nothing but great things to say about Seb before and after he walked away from the sport. Since then, this is the first time he is in attendance of an F1 event. The very fact that it’s Monaco only adds up to the excitement. His latest post with Lewis Hamilton is sending Twitter fans into a frenzy, and we are feeling every bit of it.

“Two Living Legends”: Fans React to Lewis Hamilton-Sebastian Vettel reunion

As the Monaco GP weekend is under full swing, later today is arguably the most important event of all, i.e. the Saturday qualifying session. However, Seldom does it happen that something off the track is such news that it overshadows the on-track action? Showing up of Sebastian Vettel is one such event. The two-time Monaco GP winner was seen around the paddock sharing good conversations with drivers, primarily his close pal Lewis Hamilton.

F1 fans on twitter started from deep nostalgic vibes to showing peak excitement as soon as the pictures first came out. While some fans got emotional, some directly appealed the German legend to come back in F1, a thought that even Lewis Hamilton concurs to. We have curated a collection of some of the best reactions that the duo got. Don’t mind telling us your favorite in the comments below.

As the reactions started pouring in, one thing is for sure, F1 hasn’t seen all of Seb yet. Fans would love to have him back on the grid with some of that old school glitz and charisma that he oozes. Lewis Hamilton recently remarked, “I mean, Hulkenberg coming back! There is this whole build up but he’ll be back in one in one way, shape or form.”
