India vs West Indies: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Cricket West Indies (CWI) are expected to finalise the schedule of India’s Caribbean tour during the World Test Championship (WTC) final, which is set to begin on June 7 in London. According to a report on Cricbuzz, the West Indies board has sent a tentative schedule to BCCI but the Indian board is yet to give a green signal. Team India, led by Rohit Sharma, is scheduled to tour West Indies in July. The squad will depart for the Caribbean in the first week of July. The tour will consist of two Test matches, three One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and five Twenty20 Internationals (T20s). The series in the Caribbean will begin on July 12 and conclude on August 13.
This series is part of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) new Future Tours Program (FTP). The two Test matches will be part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship 2023-25.
