WTC Final 2023: Josh Hazlewood Injury – Australia has been met with a massive roadblock just ahead of upcoming India vs Australia WTC Finals. The Aussie bowler has been ruled out of the remainder of the IPL and is set to return home with a relapse of his injury. While the Australia squad will travel to London on 27th May, it is highly unlikely that the pacer will join the squad. He is expected to join the squad at a later time until further reports. Hazlewood missed the opening phase (8 games) of the Indian Premier League for the Royal Challengers Bangalore and now is ruled out of IPL 2023. But now with the relapse of his injury, Hazlewood will return home and undergo rehabilitation for the WTC Finals.

Australia will lock horns with India in the finals of the World Test Championship on 7th June 2023. As for Australia, the team is set to reach London on the 27th of May. While the players who are not participating in IPL are already in England, preparing for the finals by playing County cricket.
