However, the streaming giant is not resting on its laurels, as it gears up for the premiere of a new documentary on former UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya. When Will Israel Adesanya’s Documentary Will Be Released?

Directed by Zoe Macintosh, the documentary on Adesanya will make its debut at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York City this June. Macintosh has been working with Adesanya since 2018 and has been diligently trying to capture the essence of the fighter.

“My goal is always to get under the gloss and hype and unlock the poetry and emotion and contradictions inherent in Israel,” Macintosh said in a statement. “He is a complex and fascinating subject, and I’m excited to be bringing his story to the world.”

Adesanya has expressed his thoughts on his own documentary in a recent interview. He shared his opinion and perspective about the documentary that was made about him. “um I’ve seen it teo times now over the last nine months or so at a certain stage when it wasn’t really finished and like the stage where it was like 95% or 98% finished even if I wasn’t what I’ve said so far even if I’m not the protagonist in this it’s not about me it’s just about some other athlete, I feel like people need to watch this like men need to watch this just there’s a lot of stuff you can learn even if you don’t like me like there’s a lot of stuff you can learn, watch full interview below.

The documentary promises to delve into Adesanya’s journey from his early days as a kickboxer in Nigeria to becoming one of the most dominant forces in the UFC. It will also explore his personal life, including his upbringing, relationships, and the challenges he faced in his career.
